Pastor Mark A. Jones, Sr.

Pastor Mark the Senior Pastor of Tabernacle of Love Ministries is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was ordained Pastor through Son Rise Global Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Winne Hamilton, of Cleveland Ohio.  Pastor Mark and his wife birthed Tabernacle of Love in April of 2018.

Pastor Mark is the devoted husband of 31 years to Francesca D. Jones, the father of 4 children (James, Jessika, Mark, II and Jordan), and the grandfather of 9 grandchildren.  Pastor Mark is a graduate of the School for Creative and Performing Arts, and attended Northern Kentucky University as a vocal major. He is also known to many as worship leader, writer, composer and recording artist. He has also traveled extensively throughout the world ministering in song.

Pastor Mark was previously recognized as an “Emerging Leader” by Applause Magazine’s Image Maker Awards, as well as receiving the YMCA Black Achievers Award.   Through his hard work and dedication, Pastor Mark is headed to 30 years of employment with the American Red Cross in the role of Strategic Account Executive for the states of Indiana and Kentucky.

Pastor Mark is a man with a heart for God’s people and has a sincere desire to grow people up in the kingdom of God.  During his 30 years of ministry he has acquired many spiritual sons and daughters.  He has also been a blessing to the body with his strong mantle of leadership as well as his gift of teaching God’s word. In an age where glorification of material possessions, compromise and outward appearance is rampant, Pastor Mark is like a diamond in a field of fool’s gold.  His character, integrity and passion for all people shines from within – he is no phony.  Like a diamond, He has been forged in the ovens of adversity and refined in the pressure cooker of life’s trials and difficult seasons.  The Holy Spirit has polished him and given him many facets, which all reflect the nature of Jesus Christ. Pastor Mark’s leadership skills are of the highest caliber as he leads and teaches with humor and excellence.  He is not timid in his rebukes nor is he stingy with his love.  Mark’s concern for the spiritual welfare of others is a by-product of his worshipping God in spirit and in truth!
